My intake on guys wearing 3/4th sleeves

So I don't normally talk about my friends on here, but I just couldn't resist!!! My fiance is OBSSESSED with wearing 3/4th sleeves (baseball tee's), and I HATE IT. In my opinion baseball tee's were made so woman can show of their favorite sports teams, and be semi-cute about it!

Men in baseball tee's look like they can't do laundry and the sleeves have shrunk, and that's kind of embarrassing ESPECIALLY to the single men!!!!!

Oscars 2012

Okay back to this blogging thing!!! Promise I will be consistent!!!
So why not come back with a BANG and discuss the Oscars. Who watched them last night, well obviously I did, with of course a glass of champers in my hand!!
Lets talk Oscar fashion
Super Woman Gwyneth Paltrow:
What a very smart lady I must say!! All these stars walking the carpet freezing, and Gwyneth shows up with a cape on. Very elegant, beautiful color, jewelry, hair and makeup. She gets my thumbs up.
Michele Williams was the... is this. Looks like a girdle sewn into the dress, and the seamstress forgot to cover the back. (That's embarrassing for the seamstress.) She must of mistaken the extra fabric and put it around her waist.
Angalina Jolie- Well first of all I am NOT an Angie fan. This little pose of hers was tacky and uncalled for. Okay we get it you have great legs, but really is it necessary to stick it out that far. And what a surprise she wore BLACK.
JLo really the plunging V-neck was a bit to much plunging. Considering she is someone who doesn't want to cause "trouble" then why have the controversy of showing her Nipple. In my opinion she is, and loves the attention of "is she or isn't she." Nice Pleating though!!!
Well there had to be one that went Eco-friendly-- Missi Pyle. This dress was made out of cruelty free silk worms, and recyclable zippers. In pictures this dress looks amazing, but I wonder what it REALLY looked like up close. Hippish can we say?
This girl is 20, by the choice of dress I would say 60 but had a lot of plastic surgery done. Seriously if you are 20 why would you choose such a god awful dress. Her stylist must of been 60 and chosen the dress for herself, but didn't receive an invitation so gave it to Shailene Woodley to wear. Absolutely Fashion-Orable.
And last but not least- Meryl Streep. She may of one best actress but definitely NOT best dressed. Lets just go to a fabric store, buy ten yards of metallic gold fabric wrap it around Meryl Streep and VIOLA she is ready to walk the Oscars.

Falling Runway Models

Ohhhh, How I feel for them!!! This poor model took a tumble at the Marc by Marc Jacobs fashion show that took place earlier this week. I can honestly relate to this poor woman, I have fallen in many places, ranging from downtown San Francisco, to the Choir room in high school, to numerous bars.

This model does have an excuse though!!! Marc Jacobs does like to put his models in some bizarre shoes, with weird heels and intense hights. I am not surpirsed more of them haven't fallen. If you have seen the Marc Jacobs documentary then you have see the behind the scenes of how the models are treated. It is crazy they have to walk around in those rediculous shoes for hours on end. I guess this model just wanted to take a break and hit the floor!!! (I don't blame her!!)

RIP ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

I know I am a little late on this (I have been out of town), but I would just like to pay my respect to an amazing fashion designer: Alexander McQueen. He had an amazing talent, and he definitely knew how to make a woman's body look amazing. His creations were seen on many celebrities such as: Sarah Jessica Parker, Sandra Bullock, and many more. He sure will be missed the fashion industry.

The New FAD!!

(picture taken from: pajamagrams)

Okay Girls!!! The replacement for the Snuggie has hit our local drug stores!!! PAJAMAJEANS-- you know you want a pair. Americans today are know for dressing extremely casual. The typical American out fit consists on jeans, a tank top, sweater (if it is cold), and flip flops! Teenagers, can be seen in PJ pants, (well basically what they wore to bed)at school, the mall, and movies. Well the makers of PajamaJeans combined the two so now we can feel comfortable in jeans. Apparently A woman can be casual and comfortable in these hideous so called sweats!

Okay I might of gone as far as buying a Snuggie, but first of all it was a gift and its keeps me warm. I would never been seen in public wearing it. Oh wait, I wore it at work, but I was working an overnighter and it gets cold!!!

Dresses made from Condoms--

What an interesting concept, definitely very creative, but at the same time kind of disturbing. The Museum of Sex celebrates condoms, and produces gowns made of hand died condoms. Some dresses hold over 1,200 condoms, lots of work must of gone into them props goes to the designers!!!! If you are in the Manhattan area go take a look at this exhibit labeled "Rubbers!!"

About Me

Hi My name is Zoe!!! I have decided I would try this blog thing out. I have just recently graduated from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. I majored in the fast pace industry of fashion, and am so glad I followed my dream!! I am currently working for Gap, and love my job and the company!! Within the next ten years I hope to open my own boutique, but have no idea who I want to cater too. I did want to go into Bridal, but I have been going back and forth on that idea.

For all those people who think majoring in an art is a load of rubbish, little do you know. Fashion can be seen in all aspects of your life. A famous fashion designer once said: "Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening," Coco Chanel. Fashion is an inspiration to us all, we can express how we feel by the way we dress, or even what kind of groups we want to be associated with.

Fashion does have its Faux Pas moments: such as the Louis Vuitton Garbage Bag priced at $1960 (photo credit- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/02/05/louis-vuittons-1960-trash_n_451051.html)

Would you buy this hideous thing??? How ridiculous can you be to but this, If you really want this then go to your local Target buy a box of trash bags, stencil the LV logo on, add a leather strap, and there you go a $1960 handb
ag!!!!! Marc Jacobs has disappointed me on this one.

Did anyone see Rihanna's nightmare of an outfit (the one legged catsuit)....oHHH MYYY need I say more. (photo credit- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/02/05/rihanna-dons-one-leg-cats_n_450853.html)

Okay enough of the fashion mistakes!!!!

Stay tuned for more life mistakes, fashion must haves, fashion faux pas!!
